On 7 acre Herb Farm the following classes will be offered...

10:am to 11:30 pm
Hatha Yoga

Yoga Hatha Basics Workshop

This workshop will be an introduction to the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga

You will be introduced to a flow of postures that will be broken down to feel the proper alignment while focusing on breath control, and calming the mind.  Yoga basics will create a solid foundation for you to move up to the more advanced classes.

Yoga clothing is required and bring your mat.

Gardening with Rose
This Class will Demystify Seed Planting, and will offer a demonstration detailing a great soil mix.  
Plus other gardening tips and ideas that we use on our farm.
In the "Hands on", Portion of the Class you will transplant a seedling into a larger pot and you may take that plant home with you.

12:pm to 1:30pm
"Herbal First Aid Kit"  This Workshop will help you to create your own customized herbal first aid kit to fit your own personal needs.  We will discuss Herbal Remedies that we could create to address the following health issues...
  • Colds and Flu
  • Fevers
  • Tummy Troubles
  • Bites/Stings/Cuts
  • Pain
  • Stress
  • Minor injuries such as a sprain
  • Bleeding
  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety/Panic
  • Dizziness
  • Cramps
  • Infections
  • Pets/ Young Children 
  • Emotional

 We will go over tinctures, salves and tea blends that can be added to your kit and discuss how to put it all together.  Each participate will take home a salve to help them start their own kit.

1:45 to 2:15
Create a raw, fermented, organic, pickled, yummy, pro-biotic.  Made with any of the following: Beets, Garlic, Onions and Lemons.  Bring your own ingredients to create the pickles.  Or just watch the show and take notes.

2:30 to 4pm
Sweet Dreams
This class will show you how to bring the body into balance.   I addition, the class will discuss the herbs for promoting rest and sleep. Most importantly, the reasons why symptoms like insomnia present themselves will also be discussed and how to bring the body to balance for restful sleep.  Attendees will make a personalized herb blend tea bag to take home.
