It all began with an idea.

Herbalists Gathering together.

Our first Gathering was January 8, 2023.

Question we asked ourselves…What did we want these gatherings to encompass? Answer (to be tweaked over time…)

  • Sharing of Skills and Knowledge on Plant-Spirit Medicine.

  • Making Herbal Products together.

  • To play in the earth through gardening. It was suggested that as a group we begin Growing Herbs, on this farm, harvesting them and then creating herbal products with these Plant Spirits.

  • Make Herbal products for sale.

  • Share with the world our creative Herbal Projects.

  • In addition…Inviting the Tampa Community to our gatherings, and sharing with them our skills and knowledge in Plant Medicine.

  • As a group we also spoke about our “strength in numbers” when Saving endangered Plant Species or influencing Herbal Political Agendas.

  • Plus…Sing, Dance and Play Music around the fire pit.

Date of Next Gathering: March 19, 2023

Location of Tampa Herbalist Gathering: Natural Health Hut Herb Farm: 26403 Chianina Drive

Time of Gathering: 3:00pm to 6:00 pm

What to Bring: Gardening Gloves, Gardening Shears, 3 - 4 ounce jars to take home Herbal Products that will be created. Drum, if you have one, or a large pot.

Theme: Spring Soltice…Purification and Rejuvination

Guidelines for this Gathering: It is required that if you attend this Gathering that you are an HERBALIST. This means you are skilled in the knowledge and uses of plant medicine. You can create Infusions, Decoctions, Tinctures, Syrups, Pill Making, Compresses, Poultices, Formulating Herbal Recipes, and you know the definitions of Medicinal Actions/Uses.

This is an open invitation to all herbalists to join us at our next gathering on Sunday, March 19th.
